Knit
Inspiration: My mother taught me how to knit when I was young. She did not like doing sleeves or finishing so she had me learn to do that first. She had little "made by" labels with her name on them that she put in the finished pieces. I was proud of my work and it was not until much later in life I wished that those labels had my name on them as well. I made this book with a twofold expression: under my own name and under my own invention. The material for this book was chosen by oldest friend (we met when we were 4) who became blind later in life. He picked out this wool 100% by feel. I created this book out of reverence for her teachings, his long-term support, and my steadfast dedication to making under my own name.
