This bathroom is a near exact replica of the only space my sister's and I shared - although not at the same time. They are older than I am and I have no memory of living in the same house with them. When I moved rooms in the house this bathroom became mine. My mother told me that I could make the new bedroom and bathroom mine so she took down the wallpaper and told me I could draw on the walls until such time that new wall paper was chosen. I was about 5. The bathroom was never wallpapered and became a center for graffiti until the house was sold 17 years later. This "shared" space was shared by many. Shared by me, my sisters, and all that made their mark past and present.
